Civic pride and Southern hospitality are never in short supply as you'll see if you attend one of the many special events hosted by the Town of Summerville.  Visit Azalea Park in the spring for "Sculpture in the South" or gather at the Town Square for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in December.  Don't miss the Flowertown Festival every April when thousands turn out to see artisans from across the country display their crafts, stroll along main street and sample local cuisine.  The little ones can even take a spin on several rides!

Summerville is also convenient to the wonderful city of Charleston where you'll find even more first rate restaurants, fine shops and many historical attractions.  Cultural events abound here, highlighted by the annual Spoleto Festival.  Also close by are beautiful, pristine beaches and plenty of opportunities for other outdoor recreation such as golfing, boating and fishing.

Those who live here already know...we are lucky to have it all!  With a temperate climate, modern conveniences mixed with natural beauty and an incredible history, the lowcountry of South Carolina is a wonderful place to call home!
